do you know that i am STILL angry at my mother for never finding a childhood house with some amazing secret hideout/moving bookcase/crawlspace that you can enter with a knock/the scene in casper when christina ricci goes on that crazy ride to the mysterious basement...ok mom, ill forgive you. but im still not pleased about it.

It makes me think of Anne Frank; the hidden Jewish girl in the Netherlands during the world war. In the house she stayed there was a hidden space with a closet as door like this..
That house is a famous museum right now ;)
